So care has to taken regarding joints, cartilage and ligaments.
The location where two or more bones join is called a joint. The purpose is to provide mechanical support along with movement. A ligament is a fibrous tissue that connects bone to another bone. A dense connective tissue is called a cartilage. Damage to anyone of these can cause disability of the body part. Full range of motion cannot be achieved which can become a life long chronic problem. So individuals who are active need to take care of ligaments, joints and cartilage.
